Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced CA/ACCA/CPA qualified professional to lead assurance engagements from India/Global hubs. You will mentor assistants and managers, ensure delivery quality per EY standards, and embed risk management practices across cross-border teams.

You will drive engagement quality, manage resources and budgets, participate in recruitment and training efforts, and collaborate with Americas/Europe teams using EY tools and methodologies.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI) with 5–6 years of post-qualification relevant experience
• ACCA/CPA with 7–8 years of post-qualification relevant experience
• Articleship with other top- or mid-tier accounting firms
• Experience in external or assurance reviews/matters in a large firm or MNC
• Knowledge of Indian accounting and assurance standards
• Knowledge of UK GAAP or US GAAP is an added advantage
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Interpersonal, risk management, facilitation and presentation skills
• Project management, leadership, coaching, counselling and supervisory skills
• Ability to build strong working relationships with global teams
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office
• Interest in business and commerciality

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of assurance engagements by guiding Assistant Managers, Seniors and Associates
• Ensure timely, high-quality delivery in line with EY methodology
• Support quality projects including pre-issuance reviews and quality reviews
• Develop relationships with engagement teams in Americas and Europe
• Embed EY Risk Management procedures into engagement work
• Transition new engagements to GDS Assurance while maintaining service quality
• Manage workflow, allocate resources, monitor performance and budgets
• Identify opportunities to improve and standardize GDS Assurance processes
• Develop high-performing teams through delegation, coaching and training
• Use technology to improve service delivery and knowledge sharing
• Contribute to technical and soft-skills training
• Participate in recruitment, diversity and inclusion initiatives
