Job Description

Associate Software Test Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. As part of the development team, you will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to design, execute, and analyze test cases.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Test Case Development: Creating comprehensive test cases based on the requirements and specifications of the project or system.
• Test Execution: Executing test cases manually or using other testing execution techniques, depending on the project’s requirements.
• Defect Reporting: Identifying and documenting software defects, and tracking them through resolution.
• Test Data Preparation: Preparing and managing test data sets.
• Test Automation: Contributing to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts.
  • Under the guidance of senior testers or automation engineers, create and execute automated test scripts using designated tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium).
  • Learn and apply basic programming concepts (e.g., variables, loops, conditionals) to write effective scripts.
  • Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to identify defects.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining test data sets required for automated testing.
  • Learn about test data generation techniques and tools.
• Continuous Learning: Pursue ongoing professional development through certifications, workshops, or online courses to stay relevant in the field.
• Quality Assurance: Collaborating with the team to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
