Associate Software QA Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the quality of the project.

2. Tests each module based on functional and system requirements.

3. Ensure that all possible test scenarios have been made for testing.

4. Responsible for reading the documents or any requirements and understanding what needs to be tested.

5. Create test cases and test data based on the given requirements.

6. Responsible for reviewing and executing test scripts provided by Business Analysts.

7. Execute all the test cases, report defects, and define the severity and priority of each ticket.

8. Investigate and provide results on production issues.

9. Responsible for the quality and timely delivery of the assigned tasks.

10. Identify problems or areas that may affect the new requirements.

11. Comply with testing standards and procedures.

12. Provide suggestions for system improvements.

13. Responsible for informing your team lead of when you will finish the workload so that a new task can be assigned.

14. Coordinates with other stakeholders for clarification of requirements or improvement of the software.

15. Responsible for helping the company improve by participating and being an active participant in any discussion within the company.

16. Required to participate in Company activities.

17. Responsible for proper timekeeping of task assignments through the Portal Timesheets, which form part of the management review process for your employment.

Job Requirements:

1. Candidate must possess a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

2. 6 months - 1 Year of working experience in the related field is advantageous for this position.

3. Fresh graduates with related experience from internships are also encouraged to apply.

4. Basic understanding of programming concepts.

5. Knows hardware and software technologies.

6. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

7. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

8. Ability to work in an Agile environment.

9. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced development.

10. Knows about Software Development Life Cycle.

11. Well-developed analytical skills.

12. Knowledgeable in Software Quality Assurance and Testing in an Agile Environment.

13. Can work with minimal supervision.
