Responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and SEO audits using modern tools and data analytics platforms.
• Optimize on-page and off-page SEO factors, including content, metadata, and backlinks, to improve rankings and organic traffic.
• Conduct AI visibility and monitor AI traffic, including prompts that make an impact, and how to report insights.
• Create spot-on content recommendations for onsite and offsite visibility improvements for GEO.
• Stay updated on voice search optimization strategies, social search, and hyper-personalized search.

Job Purpose

We are seeking a forward-thinker! A data-driven SEO Associate Consultant that knows their way around GEO and the impact of AI on the field of SEO. As part of a future-proof, fast-paced environment, you'll collaborate with clients to optimize their online presence for (LLM) search engines, blending traditional SEO practices with emerging trends like AI-powered tools, voice search, and Search for social and marketplace platforms. You will support GEO and SEO strategies, ensuring organic traffic growth and aligning content with modern search algorithms.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and SEO audits using modern tools and data analytics platforms.
• Optimize on-page and off-page SEO factors, including content, metadata, and backlinks, to improve rankings and organic traffic.
• Conduct AI visibility and monitor AI traffic, including knowledge of prompts that make an impact, how to report, and what insights the data brings.
• Create spot-on content recommendations for both onsite and offsite visibility improvements, depending on which LLMs need to be addressed and which websites are interesting for GEO.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in order to give the most recent recommendations to your clients, like voice search optimization strategies, social search and hyper personalized search.
• Collaborate with content and technical teams to ensure GEO/SEO best practices are integrated into website design and content creation. It is a plus if you have experience in implementing (parts of) the best practices yourself.
• Analyze SEO performance using tools like SEMRush, Ahref, Clairon, Google Search Console, GA4 and other SEO software; generate reports with actionable insights.
• Manage and execute backlink-building strategies, including outreach, relationship management, and monitoring of backlink quality to improve site authority.
• Assist in local SEO efforts, including optimizing Google Business profiles and managing online reputation through reviews.

What We’d Like to See:

• You are able to communicate transparently, honestly and candid towards your peers and managers internally.
• You understand web development principles and have a basic understanding of HTML, CSS and front-end CMS.
• You know all about search engine algorithms, ranking factors and backlinking tactics.
• You like to work with different cultures and nationalities, in a diverse environment
• You understand your role in the customer journey and have some understanding of UX/UI in SEO/GEO performance.
• It’s a plus if you have certifications in Google Analytics, SEO, or related digital marketing fields.
• It’s a big plus if you are curious and proactive in keeping up with the latest search technologies, like voice search and virtual assistants (like Google Assistant, Alexa, or Siri), social and retail search and AI-driven hyper personalized search.
