Job summary

Randstad Staffing is seeking a junior software professional to support development tasks and collaborate with IT teams on small projects. You will write and debug code, follow standards, and assist in documenting software design under guidance from senior engineers.

The role focuses on data management, web application development, and learning the company’s development roadmap within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience collaborating with IT teams to translate requirements into design specifications for small projects.
• Ability to follow established standards and contribute to coding practices under supervision.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle and documentation norms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with IT Architecture, IT Functional & Process Designers and IT Business Partners to gather requirements and translate them into design specifications for small and straight-forward projects, seeking guidance from more senior team members
• Participates in the implementation of standards, methods, features and logic for software, following established business strategies and specifications
• Undertakes coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting tasks in projects with limited complexity, under the guidance and supervision of senior team members
• Implements non-complex straight-forward code following best practices and coding guidelines, seeking feedback and guidance as needed
• Fulfills proper documentation of software design and work with IT Functional & Process Designers to design and implement solution to meet architecture standards
• Executes the defined development roadmap
• Stays up to date with technology developments and participates in discussions on how these may improve upon the current architecture and development efficiency
