Job summary

MIMS (MediMarketing, Inc.) is seeking an experienced engineering leader to design and deliver scalable, secure web applications and backend services from requirements to production release. You will mentor engineers, drive architecture decisions, and enforce best practices while championing AI-powered solutions.

You will guide CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, and collaboration with Product, UI/UX, QA/QC, and DevOps teams to maintain high quality and rapid delivery.

Qualifications

• Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, high-performance web applications and backend services.
• Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, and enforce engineering best practices.
• Drive application architecture, API integration, performance optimization, and technical problem-solving.
• Lead production troubleshooting, incident resolution, and root cause analysis.
• Encourage experimentation (POCs, innovation spikes).
• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and integrate AI-powered applications using LLMs, RAG, embeddings, and semantic search.
• Design AI workflows involving prompt engineering, document retrieval, vector databases, and LLM APIs.
• Champion AI-assisted coding practices using Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or equivalent tools.
• Explore AI frameworks, agentic workflows, and automation to improve engineering productivity and code quality.
• Evaluate AI solutions for accuracy, performance, scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Design, deploy, and maintain applications on Microsoft Azure Cloud.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Implement automated builds, testing, deployment, monitoring, and rollback procedures.
• Work closely with DevOps teams on cloud infrastructure, application security, reliability, and cost optimization.
• Own end-to-end engineering delivery from requirements, technical design, development, QA, through production release.
• Lead technical estimation, sprint planning, task allocation, and delivery tracking using Jira.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, UI/UX, QA/QC, and infrastructure teams.
• Maintain technical documentation and architecture decisions in Confluence.
• Foster team collaboration, accountability, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
