Job summary

SyCip Salazar Hernandez & Gatmaitan seeks a capable associate to deliver high-quality legal services to its clients in the Philippines. The role involves handling transactions, representing clients in court, drafting pleadings and contracts, and conducting legal research to advise on matters.

The associate will also assist clients with compliance, build client relationships, and manage notarial requirements for SyCipLaw Subic.

Job description

The associate will provide high-quality and timely legal services to clients of SyCipLaw. His or her responsibilities include the following:

1. Handle transactions and cases for clients;

2. Represent clients before courts and other governmental agencies;

3. Draft pleadings, contracts and other documents required by the client;

4. Conduct legal research and provide advice to clients on legal matters;

5. Assist clients in complying with legal requirements (e.g., obtain permits, make filings, etc.);

6. Build and develop relationship with clients

7. Handle notarial requirements of SyCipLaw Subic.

Technical requirements

1. Member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines;

2. At least 2 to 5 years legal experience;

3. Previous experience in law firm preferred.
