Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree with license to practice dentistry.

• Valid state dental license and active practice.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients' teeth and gums to diagnose and treat oral health issues.
• Use X-rays and imaging to assist examinations.
• Provide treatments: cleanings, fillings, extractions, crowns, veneers, whitening.
• Administer local anesthesia as needed.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
• Perform oral cancer screenings and prescribe medications as required.
• Ensure sterilization of instruments and equipment before use.
• Take impressions for mouthguards and dentures.

Job description

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degreePref - Licensed

Preferably graduate of UE or CEU

Valid state dental license

Proven experience as a general dentist or associate dentist

Strong diagnostic and clinical skills

Familiarity with dental software and digital radiography

Responsibilities

Examining patients' teeth and gums to diagnose and treat various oral health issues.

Utilizing X-rays and computer-generated imaging to assist with examinations.

Providing dental treatments to patients, including routine cleanings, extractions, dental fillings, cavity, and tooth decay treatments, teeth whitening, bonding, and applications of dental crowns, caps, and veneers.

Administering local anesthesia to patients as needed.

Educating patients on good oral hygiene practices and advising them on proper aftercare following certain dental procedures.

Performing oral cancer screenings.

Prescribing antibiotics and pain medications to patients as required.

Ensuring that all dental instruments and equipment are sterilized before each use.

Taking impressions of patients' mouths for the fabrication of customized mouthguards and dentures.
