Job summary

TP ICAP is seeking an Associate, Data Quality in the Philippines to monitor real-time price validation systems and detect data issues across multiple brands. The role requires predicting anomalies, escalating problems with clear remediation steps, and working with engineering, analytics, and data providers to maintain data integrity.

Candidates should have 4+ years in data quality or market data, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and familiarity with Bloomberg/Refinitiv.

Role Overview

Associate, Data Quality

The Associate plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity and reliability of market data across multiple brands and platforms. This position involves real-time monitoring, testing, and escalation of data anomalies, contributing to the overall quality assurance framework of the organization. Candidates should demonstrate the ability or possess experience that qualifies them to perform these duties with little supervision.

Role Responsibilities

• Independently monitor real-time price validation systems to detect and fix data errors and delays.

• Use market knowledge to triage anomalies and anticipate the impact of market-moving events to improve data quality parameters

• Escalate data issues to internal teams (e.g., engineering, analytics, product) and external data providers, ensuring clear documentation of the problem, its impact, and any interim workarounds.

• Conduct in-depth data analysis and fault diagnostics to identify the root causes of anomalies, delays, or inaccuracies in market data. Apply statistical and technical methods to isolate issues and implement corrective actions that prevent recurrence and improve overall data quality.

• Collaborate with Parameta Solutions and TP ICAP technical and analytics teams to maintain system functionality.

• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by Data Quality leadership.

• Participate in system enhancement initiatives by providing detailed feedback on data validation tools and workflows; support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new features, ensuring they meet operational and data quality requirements.

• Lead incident management and root cause analysis, including documentation and follow-up actions.

Experience / Competences

Associate

• Ability or experience that qualifies the candidate to perform duties with little supervision

Desired

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 4+ years of experience in Data Quality operations or a related field

• Prior experience in a data quality, market data, or operations role.

• Knowledge of Bloomberg, Refinitiv, and other market data platforms.

• Exposure to machine learning or automation tools for data validation.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with financial markets and data flows.

• Experience with real-time data monitoring tools and QA applications.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Work Setup:

• Work Schedule: AEST (early shift) (3:30 AM - 12:30 PM/4:30 AM - 1:30 PM). The final schedule will be determined by the business.

• Location: BGC, Taguig City

• Work Arrangement: Hybrid setup, with 3 days onsite (RTO) and 2 days work-from-home (WFH)
