The Corporate Institute in Mumbai seeks an experienced Assistant Vice President/Vice President to lead the Private Client Group (PCG) advisory team. You will drive client acquisition, grow AUM, and deliver high-value investment solutions for HNI/UHNI clients and family offices.

Job Purpose:
To lead a team of Advisors in driving the Private Client Group (PCG) business through managing and acquiring HNI/UHNI Clients and family office, while also functioning as a playing captain – managing the team and simultaneously achieving individual targets. The role focuses on strengthening client relationships, improving productivity, and delivering superior advisory solutions. The Team Leader ensures a high-performance culture, and supports strategic initiatives to scale AUM and enhance client experience.
Key Deliverables:
Business Growth & Revenue:
– Achieve assigned Broking, AUM, and client acquisition targets for the PCG business.
– Drive cross-sell and upsell of wealth and investment products – equities, mutual funds, fixed income, PMS, structured products, etc.
– Monitor self & team productivity and implement initiatives to enhance conversion ratios and business quality.
Team Management & Leadership:
– Lead, coach, and motivate Individual Advisors to meet business objectives.
– Conduct regular performance reviews, skill development sessions, and goal-setting activities.
– Build a strong advisory culture focused on client-first thinking and ethical practices.
Client Relationship & Advisory Excellence:
– Support Advisors in managing HNI/UHNI client relationships with high engagement and service standards.
– Review client portfolios, ensure timely rebalancing, and drive adoption of research-backed investment strategies.
– Ensure proactive resolution of client concerns and enhance overall satisfaction.
Strategic & Operational Execution:
– Support Group Leader in implementing business strategies, campaigns, and new product roll-outs.
– Provide market insights and competitor analysis to improve business positioning.
Role Requirements:
– Education: Post-graduate in Finance, Business, Economics, or related fields.
– Experience:
1. 8+ years in Wealth Management, Broking, PCG, or BFSI Sales.
2. Experience in managing Advisory teams is preferred.
– Skills & Competencies:
1. Strong understanding of financial markets, HNI investment behaviour, and wealth products.
2. Hands-on experience in equity advisory, financial planning, and portfolio management.
3. Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship management skills.
4. Ability to drive performance and maintain compliance rigor.
