Job summary

Citco is seeking an Assistant Vice President/Manager of Data Transformation in Manila to lead a robust reporting and data management platform for multiple fund structures. You will partner with business groups and Product Manager to identify needs and prioritize enhancements, delivering timely, testable solutions.

You will drive automation using Python, SQL, and VBA, coordinate with technology teams, and ensure documentation and testing rigor while shaping the product roadmap and strategy.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years hands on experience in custom solution building and/or report writing.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and VBA.
• Working knowledge of Python.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor degree in a quantitative discipline, such as computer science, engineering, finance, economics, or accounting.
• Strong knowledge of Atlassian products.
• Certified Scrum Master or Certified Scrum Product Owner a plus.
• Excellent communication skills relaying business concepts to technology teams.
• Familiarity with AWS a plus.
• Skills in negotiation, influencing, mentoring, guiding.
• Record of delivering business/technology reengineering initiatives.
• Project management skills with attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task.
• Strong visual communication skills (PowerPoint, Visio).
• Individual Contributor that will lead a team in the future.

Responsibilities

• Correspond with various business groups to identify tactical needs.
• Develop peripheral automation for our processes (e.g. Python, VBA, SQL, etc.).
• Co-ordinate with our other technology groups for implementation and deployment.
• QA testing and roll-out of technology.
• Ensure there is sufficient documentation for processes & tools.
• Assist with various projects as assigned.
• Contribute to product vision and align roadmap to strategic goal.
• Work with Product Manager and stakeholders to prioritize product enhancements.
• Ensure quality of work being delivered by being involved in testing efforts.
• Through partnership with the business, define, sponsor and steer development initiatives.
• Influence and guide technology, project management and operations team in solution delivery.
• Maintain and develop expertise and keep abreast of market trends/direction and competitors.
• Collaborate with the other product teams on prioritization and reuse of functionality.
• Horizon scanning for disruptive technology.
• Leverage core Citco expertise to deliver consistency for clients across PE, RE and Hedge.
• Create and maintain standard product offerings.

Responsibilities

As Assistant Vice President/Manager of Data Transformation you will support the Data Transformation Office and the management team of all lines of business in creating a robust reporting application and data products. You will be part of the delivery team to ensure that right functionality is built and delivered in a timely manner.
