SPi Global (now Straive) is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to oversee the data conversion lifecycle from extraction to delivery. You will ensure high data quality and maintain strong client relationships across complex pipelines.
In this role you will lead and mentor data teams, optimize processes to meet SLAs, and partner with clients to drive continuous improvement in transformation, validation, and delivery of structured and unstructured data.
The Assistant Operations Manager oversees the end-to‑end data conversion lifecycle—from extraction and mapping to transformation, validation, and delivery. This role ensures operational efficiency, high‑accuracy data quality, and strong client relationships across complex data pipelines.
Data Lifecycle Oversight: Manage end-to‑end data transformation, mapping, cleansing, and validation workflows across structured and unstructured datasets.
Process & SLA Optimization: Analyze client specs to streamline pipelines, implement automation, shorten turnarounds, and maintain strict SLA/data governance standards.
Team Leadership: Direct, mentor, and capacity‑plan for team leaders and data specialists to meet high accuracy and throughput targets.
Client Management: Serve as an operational contact for client reports, project updates, and quality improvement initiatives.
Leadership Experience: Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role within a BPO or data‑centric operation.
Domain Expertise: Strong grasp of the data conversion lifecycle (ETL, schema mapping, data validation, and unstructured‑to‑structured processing).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Management, IT, Engineering, Math, or a related field.
Skills: Strong analytical, process‑mapping, and client communication abilities.
Exposure to automation tools, scripting, or AI‑assisted data extraction.
Background in Lean Six Sigma or process optimization.
Experience managing large‑scale document or digital asset conversion projects.
