Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead finance and accounting activities for newly acquired entities and strategic projects.
• Oversee finance integration including chart of accounts mapping and system implementation.
• Ensure accurate month-end closings, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders during acquisitions.

About the role

The Assistant Finance Transformation Manager is responsible for leading the accounting and finance aspects of newly acquired companies, business development initiatives, and special projects. The role oversees the financial integration activities, ensures compliance with company policies and accounting standards, and works closely with cross-functional teams to support successful project execution. The position also provides leadership and support across various finance and accounting functions to help ensure timely completion of departmental deliverables and operational requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the finance and accounting activities for newly acquired entities, new business ventures, and strategic projects
• Oversee the finance integration effort including chart of accounts mapping, system implementation, process alignment and standardization, and reporting set-up
• Ensure accurate recording of transactions, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities for newly established or acquired operations
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders during acquisition and project implementation phases
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and financial performance against approved plans
• Prepare and finalize financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses for projects and new business operations
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements
• Identify financial risks, control gaps, and operational inefficiencies, recommend corrective actions
• Support external audits by providing necessary financial data and reports
