Job summary

Hilton Philippines invites a seasoned finance professional to join our Hotels team as Assistant Director of Finance. You will oversee daily finance operations, ensure accurate month-end and year-end closings, and support the financial controller with strategic insights to drive business performance.

Based in Pampanga/Mabalacat, this role requires a degree in Commerce/Accounting with CPA or similar certification, at least five years’ managerial experience, and strong proficiency in hotel finance

Qualifications

• Degree in Commerce/Accounting/Management and a professional finance qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of managerial operational accounting experience.
• Proficiency in hotel finance systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Finance Operations: Supervise daily finance activities and ensure accurate month-end and year-end closings.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure adherence to Finance SPI and government tax regulations, including timely submissions.
• Team Oversight: Understand and support the roles and procedures of all team members under your supervision.
• Efficiency & Organization: Respond to requests promptly and maintain an up-to-date filing system.
• Strategic Support: Assist the Director of Finance/Financial Controller with financial insights for decision-making.
• Policy & Safety Awareness: Stay current with Hilton and hotel finance policies, and promote safe work practices.

In addition, this role requires the following minimum qualifications:

• Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Management, or related field; certified in Finance/Accounting
• Minimum 5 years’ experience, including managerial operational accounting roles
• Skilled in OnQ, Check SCM, SUN, OPERA/OnQ PMS, MICROS, HRLINK
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong communication, analytical skills, and flexibility during the month/year-end
• Professional accounting qualification preferred.
