Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

Responsible for supervising, planning, and coordinating the activities of finance and accounting functions pertaining to areas such as but not limited to general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budget, financial analysis and reporting; and monitoring and analyzing department works to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

OPERATING NETWORK Internal Customers: Management, Accounting Manager, HRD, CMD, Restaurant Manager, Cashier

External Customers/Contacts: Suppliers, Auditors, BIR, Banks, Insurance companies/brokers

• Daily Operations: Verifies accounts payable, disbursement vouchers, and POS sales for outlets.
• Reporting: Prepares financial statements, cost of sales, and prime costs.
• Analysis: Conducts variance analysis for income statements (e.g., actual vs. budget).
• Compliance: Handles BIR monthly deadlines, year-end physical inventory counts, and maintains internal control policies.

Management & Coordination

• People Management: Leads, mentors, and appraises accounting staff while conducting regular meetings to delegate work.
• External Relations: Serves as the primary point of contact for auditors, suppliers, banks, and insurance brokers.
• Liaison: Works with the Executive VP to promote productivity and employee engagement.
