Job summary

Equalynx Network Co. is seeking a skilled Bread and Cake Baker to prepare, bake, and decorate breads, cakes, and pastries while upholding our quality standards. You will follow approved recipes, monitor ovens, and perform taste checks to ensure consistency across batches.

The role requires attention to detail, knowledge of food safety, and the ability to work with the Production Manager and Team Leader on production schedules. Weekend and shift flexibility may be needed.

Qualifications

• Experience as Baker, Cake Baker, Pastry Baker, or similar position is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic baking techniques is required.
• Familiarity with food safety and sanitation practices is essential.
• Ability to follow recipes and production instructions accurately.
• Good attention to detail, especially in quality and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and measure ingredients according to recipes.
• Mix, knead, proof, shape, and bake breads and pastries.
• Prepare and bake cakes, cupcakes, and other cake products.
• Assist in filling, icing, and basic decoration.
• Monitor oven temperature and baking times and check product appearance.
• Conduct taste and quality checks before release to production or delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of bakery and equipment.
• Label and store ingredients and finished products properly.
• Check ingredient quality and expiration dates before use.
• Minimize wastage and report damaged items.
• Follow food safety and workplace safety procedures.
• Coordinate with Production Manager and Team Leader on schedules.
• Assist in inventory monitoring of baking ingredients.
