A leading logistics company is seeking an Area Manager to oversee operations across multiple branches. This role involves managing efficiency, driving sales, and ensuring compliance with company standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics or e-commerce, exceptional leadership skills, and a track record of managing teams effectively.
The primary job function of the Area Manager is to manage and assume overall responsibility for the productive and efficient operations of J & T Express branches (DP and DH) by directing all operational aspects of each branches and driving sales at the same time minimizing costs. His/her area may vary based on J & T Express operational exigencies.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Graduate of Business Administration, Business Management, or similar field.
2. With at least 5 years experience as store or business manager, preferably in a related field.
3. With proven experience as area manager, store manager, or similar managerial role.
4. Strong background in Logistics Operations or E-Commerce.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
1. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
2. Proven excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
3. Thorough understanding on the optimization of service operations and standards of J&T Express to achieve success.
4. Ability to prepare and present report in all mediums.
5. Knowledgeable in Strategic Management with strong business acumen.
6. Knowledge in performance evaluation metrics.
7. Problem-solving abilities and can relate to all levels of organization hierarchy.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Conscientiously oversees operations to ensure efficiency and prevent operational errors.
2. Consistently familiarizes self with the J&T Express standard and objectives to be discharged to all units where he/she is accountable.
3. Establishes firm compliance with J&T Express and SOPs.
4. Formulates business development strategies with proper coordination with J & T Headquarters.
5. Consistently deals with operational and relational problems by providing (creative) practical solutions to deter further build out of problems that will affect overall business operations.
6. Assumes sound financial management to guarantee that branches will be profitable and stay within the expense budget.
7. Makes objective evaluation of people and performance using key metrics and immediately addresses issue/s to improve relationships and operations.
8. Leads team of Supervisors for effective collaboration towards the attainment of set goals.
9. Assist upper management in decision towards business expansion or other business endeavors.
10. Regularly reports to senior executives on all progress and issues of the operations within his/her area of control.
11. Follows established protocol before making any major decisions involving business process, specifically matters involving legal actions.
