Job summary

Jacobs Solutions Inc. in Metro Manila seeks an experienced BIM Coordinator to lead architecture and interior modelling efforts across projects. You’ll collaborate with modelers, engineers and PMs to ensure timely, quality BIM deliverables within ISO19650 standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating tasks, mentoring junior staff, conducting clash detection, facilitating VDRs, and supporting CDE setup in a multinational, hybrid-work environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Revit or similar software.
• Experience with coordination software such as Navisworks and Revizto.
• Relevant Building Information Modelling (BIM) practical experience.
• Ability to manage a project modelling team.
• Resilience to deal with critical feedback.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Modelers, Architects, Engineers, Project Manager/s, Design Manager/s, and Section Manager about project BIM requirements.
• Be the focal point for any BIM-related matter within your team in the first instance, elevate any issues to the relevant technical or department lead as required.
• Receive (and inform the Section manager) & disseminate modelling & coordination tasks from the home offices’ (GID).
• Have a good understanding of International BIM standards / requirements (ISO19650).
• Ensure drawings & models are completed to the desired program & budget.
• Ensure QA/ QC procedures are adhered to.
• Advise Architects, Engineers, Project Manager/s, Design Manager/s, and Section Manage of issues or delays as early as possible.
• Ensure compliance with Exchange/ Project Information Requirements (EIR/ PIR).
• Assist in Setting up Common Data Environments (CDEs).
• Audits the civil models to ensure they’re fit for purpose.
• Performs Automated Clash Detection and produce clash reports
• Attends or facilitates Virtual Design Reviews (VDR)
• Software training & tool migration
• Mentoring of junior staff
• Arranging/attending local & regional BIM working group meetings.
• Perform modelling works for architecture discipline as needed or when no BIM coordination works are available at a given time.

Here’s what you’ll need

• Proficient in Revit or similar software
• Experience with co-ordination software such as Navisworks and/or Revizto
• Relevant Building Information Modelling (BIM) practical experience.
• The ability to manage a project modelling team/s.
• Resilience to deal with critical feedback.
• The ability to meet deadlines.
• Being able to work under pressure.Being accurate and patient.
• An understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods would be beneficial.
• A sound knowledge of engineering design principles would be beneficial.
• Experience working within a multi-national working environment would be beneficial.
