Job summary

Insight Manila is seeking a Credit Controller (Level I) to manage a defined AR portfolio, ensuring timely collections and adherence to SLAs. You’ll collaborate with Sales, Billing, and Cash Application to resolve billing queries and minimize bad debt risk.

The role requires 6 months to 2 years in collections or AR, strong English communication, and proficiency in MS Excel with SAP familiarity. This is a Manila-based hybrid position, offering growth and opportunities within Insight’s global AR

Qualifications

• 6 months to 2 years of collections or accounts receivable experience.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple accounts.
• Basic to intermediate MS Excel skills; familiarity with SAP or other ERP/AR systems.
• Ability to work in a deadline-driven, target-oriented environment.
• Willing to work in Manila with hybrid setup (1 day in office, 4 days remote).

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of client AR, focusing on standard‑risk accounts in line with Insight’s credit control procedures.
• Ensure timely collection of all debts and payments using appropriate communication methods (phone, email, portals) and maintain regular contact with debtors.
• Monitor client accounts to identify overdue balances, follow up in accordance with dunning schedules, and support the maintenance of the aging profile.
• Review held orders and operate specified ‘stop’ and ‘release’ activities on client accounts within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
• Work closely with internal teams (Sales, Client Services, Billing, Cash Application) to resolve routine billing or payment queries and ensure invoices are cleared for payment.
• Maintain accurate records of all collection activities, provide regular status updates on portfolio performance, and contribute to month‑end activities.
• Ensure compliance with relevant audits, regulations, and data protection requirements for EMEA markets.
