ADERMA Aqua Farms is looking for a motivated, adaptable, and highly trainable Aquaculture Operations Associate to join our growing team.
This is an entry-level, hands‑on position ideal for fresh graduates and young professionals who want to build practical experience in aquaculture and farm operations.
The successful candidate will be exposed to different areas of shrimp farm operations, including harvest activities, operational reporting, water quality monitoring, and basic laboratory procedures.
As the employee develops and gains experience, additional responsibilities may be assigned based on operational needs, individual capabilities, and areas of growth.
Assist in harvest tallying, documentation, and reporting
Support day‑to‑day aquaculture and farm operations
Learn and understand basic water quality parameters and monitoring procedures
Become familiar with basic laboratory procedures related to aquaculture
Gather, organize, and maintain accurate operational data and records
Coordinate with farm personnel and management as required
Assist in implementing new procedures, systems, and operational improvements
Perform other farm‑related responsibilities as assigned
Note: The position will be trained in basic laboratory procedures but will not primarily function as a Laboratory Analyst, as the farm has designated personnel for laboratory operations.
Preferably a graduate of BS Fisheries, Agriculture, Agribusiness, Aquaculture, or a related course
Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply
Previous aquaculture or farm experience is an advantage but not required
Quick learner with good comprehension and attention to detail
Strong personality and able to communicate confidently
Open‑minded, adaptable, and receptive to new ideas and procedures
Willing to learn beyond his/her initial responsibilities
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Responsible, dependable, and willing to take initiative
Must be willing to stay in at the farm in Cadiz City
Willing to work in an actual aquaculture/farm environment
Willing to work flexible schedules when required by farm operations, particularly during harvests and other critical activities
Comfortable performing a combination of fieldwork, monitoring, documentation, and administrative tasks
