Job summary

Aprio invites you to join its Tax team as a Tax Associate in the Philippines. The role focuses on applying tax accounting knowledge across consulting and compliance engagements, including preparation of Forms 1065, 1120, 1120S, and 1040, with specific duties for 1042/1042S filings during peak season.

Ideal candidates have 0-2 years in public accounting, strong writing and communication skills, and a degree in Accounting.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of public accounting experience; entry level considered
• Experience with tax return preparation is ideal
• Degree in Accounting or related field strongly preferred
• Exceptional writing skills
• Excellent presentation and communication abilities
• Willingness to travel on a very limited basis

Position responsibilities:

• Apply strong technical tax accounting knowledge on consulting and compliance client engagements
• Prepare tax returns (Forms 1065, 1120, 1120s, 1040)
• Will be preparing the 1042 and 1042S filings during March and April in Gosystems RS and Avalara.

Qualifications:

• 0-2 years of public accounting experience; will consider Entry level
• Some exposure in the preparation of tax returns is ideal
• Degree in Accounting or related field is strongly preferred
• Exceptional writing skills
• Strong accounting, analytical, technical, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
• Excellent presentation and communication abilities
• Willingness to travel on a very limited basis
• Willingness to travel on a limited basis
• Work Setup: Hybrid – Initial 2 months onsite, followed by a hybrid schedule of 2 days onsite and 3 days work-from-home per week. Work location is either at our Clark or Makati site.
• Amenable to work day shift starting from 6:30 AM-3:30 PM PHT
