Aprio's Advisory - Finance Advisory Team is seeking a Manager, Transaction Advisory Services to lead due diligence for private equity and strategic buyers. You will build client relationships, manage deliverables, and guide teams through complex financial analyses.

Gain exposure to US GAAP/GAAS, supervise staff, contribute to proposals, and collaborate across services. Hybrid work arrangement in the Philippines with some travel required.

Qualifications

• 4-year bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and strong GAAP knowledge.
• Licensed CPA is a plus and helpful for advancement.
• Proven ability to work with private equity executives and corporate leaders.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and complete financial/accounting due diligence for buyers/sellers across industries.
• Develop client relationships and interact with target company executives.
• Supervise seniors and associates; provide performance feedback.
• Assist Partners on proposals and new business opportunities with client relationships.
• Manage project deliverables, deadlines and cross-sell Aprio services.

Join Aprio's Advisory - Finance Advisory Team and you will help clients maximize their opportunities. Aprio is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a Manager, Transaction Advisory Services to join their dynamic team.

Responsibilities and duties

• Plan, execute, direct and complete financial/accounting due diligence for private equity and strategic buyers and sellers from a variety of industries, including manufacturing and distribution, technology, retail and hospitality and business services.
• Develop relationships with clients and engage in effective interactions with target company executives
• Compiling and analyzing historical financial data/financial statements provided by buyer and/or seller as well as conducting interviews with buyer or seller
• Commenting on client sellers and client targets’ financial operating results and financial position
• Supervise and develop the skills of seniors and associates and provide performance review feedback
• Assist Partners and Senior Managers on proposals and new business opportunities by drafting responses, participating in the proposal process, building client relationships, demonstrating knowledge of client business and communicating directly with the buyer and seller.
• Manage client expectations concerning project deliverables and deadlines and lead change efforts effectively.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and cross-sell Aprio services and solutions.
• Communicate (verbally and in writing) externally with clients and internally with all levels of the organization to successfully accomplish objectives portraying knowledge and confidence
• Strong current knowledge in US GAAP, GAAS, transaction advisory services or mergers and acquisitions.
• Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills
• Continuously fostering relationships with coworkers (through all services lines and industry groups of Aprio) and clients (both strategics and private equity)
• Participating in a work environment that values and promotes camaraderie, collaboration and giving back to the community
• Traveling approximately up to 20% of the time while upholding Aprio’s values and reputation

Qualifications

• Understanding and applying Excel, PowerPoint, Word skills
• Demonstrating poise working with private equity and corporate executives
• Working effectively and personably with a diverse group
• At least five plus years of recent experience in Audit, Finance or Transaction Advisory (preferred)
• Displaying adequate knowledge of GAAP
• 4-year bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Licensed CPA is a plus
• Amenable to a hybrid work arrangement (2 days onsite and 3 days WFH), with full-time onsite work required during the first 2 months.
• Amenable to working on a mid shift schedule (3pm - 12mn PHT)
