Job summary

Endava seeks a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to support a platform handling sensitive data across AWS, Snowflake, and GCP. The role emphasizes cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, access control, security, monitoring and operational support, with collaboration among data engineers and platform teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in AWS DevOps, Terraform, and CI/CD, with strong IAM, S3, Glue, Lambda, and Snowflake experience, plus cloud security and monitoring expertise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps/Cloud.
• Proven AWS DevOps and cloud infrastructure experience.
• Hands-on with Terraform.
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of IAM, roles, policies and access controls.
• Experience with AWS data services (S3, Glue, Lambda, SNS).
• Experience integrating AWS with Snowflake.
• Good cloud security, monitoring and ops support.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using CodeBuild/CodeArtifact.
• Configure AWS services (S3, IAM, Glue, Lambda, ECS, SNS, SQS, EventBridge, DynamoDB, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch).
• Manage roles, permissions, service accounts, and cross-platform integrations.
• Support Snowflake administration, connectivity, access controls, and service accounts.
• Support AWS and Snowflake Clean Rooms, with some exposure to GCP and BigQuery Clean Rooms.
• Investigate infra, deployment, monitoring, and notification issues.
• Configure security services such as AWS Macie and resolve false positives.
• Ensure infra changes are secure, auditable and compliant with PII requirements.
• Collaborate with data engineers and platform teams on new integrations and deployments.

We are looking for a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to support a platform that processes sensitive customer data and operates across AWS, Snowflake, and GCP.

The role will focus on cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, access management, security, monitoring, and operational support. The engineer will work closely with data engineers but will not be responsible for developing the data pipelines themselves.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodeBuild and CodeArtifact.
• Configure AWS services including S3, IAM, Glue, Lambda, ECS, SNS, SQS, EventBridge, DynamoDB, Secrets Manager, and CloudWatch.
• Manage roles, permissions, service accounts, and cross-platform integrations.
• Support Snowflake administration, connectivity, access controls, and service accounts.
• Support AWS and Snowflake Clean Rooms, with some exposure to GCP and BigQuery Clean Rooms.

• Ensure infrastructure changes are secure, auditable, and compliant with PII requirements.

Required skills

Strong AWS DevOps and cloud infrastructure experience.

• Hands-on experience with Terraform.
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of AWS IAM, roles, policies, and access controls.
• Experience with AWS data services, particularly S3, Glue, Lambda, and SNS.
• Experience integrating AWS with Snowflake.
• Good understanding of cloud security, monitoring, and operational support.
• Ability to work across a broad range of infrastructure requests.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Snowflake administration and Clean Rooms experience.
• GCP or BigQuery experience.
• Python and SQL knowledge.
• Experience working with PII or other regulated data.
