Responsibilities

• Hands‑on experience with web applications and programming languages (C#, ASP .NET MVC, HTML, CSS, Java, JQuery, APIs).
• Support global channel programs by designing, coding, and modifying existing portals to keep them at the forefront of technology.
• Assist the extended channel team by troubleshooting issues within core templates or debugging problems.
• Maintain constant communication with colleagues and stakeholders, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.
• Regular exposure to business stakeholders with authority to apply technical expertise to challenges.
• Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, and general web standards.

Role Overview

The Web Developer is responsible for supporting the company's official website implementations. This includes maintaining, developing, and improving Vertiv's technology systems such as the Customer Portal, Consultant Corner, and other marketing sites. The role involves designing, coding, and modifying these websites and portals to enhance functionality and user experience.

The postholder will play a crucial role in continuously enhancing Vertiv's official site, portals, tools, and configurators to ensure they remain cutting‑edge. Additionally, the Web Developer will provide technical support for various campaigns and activities to achieve business objectives.

The role operates within the Information Technology (IT) team.

Job Responsibilities

• Hands‑on experience with web applications and programming languages, including C#, ASP .NET MVC, HTML, CSS, Java , JQuery, and APIs.
• Functional knowledge or hands‑on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc.).
• Support global channel programs by designing, coding, and modifying existing portals to keep them at the forefront of technology.
• Assist the extended channel team by troubleshooting issues within core templates or debugging problems.
• Maintain constant communication with colleagues and stakeholders, collaborating with internal teams and external specialist vendors.
• Regular exposure to business stakeholders with the authority and scope to apply expertise to various technical challenges.
• Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions, and standards.

Qualifications & Skills

Essential Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills – ability to present thoughts and ideas clearly to a senior audience.
• 1-2 years of experience in developing within a .NET web CMS, ideally EPiServer.
• Preference for candidates already possessing or working towards the EPiServer Certified Developer accreditation.
