Job description

NYC Metro, Hybrid

Aligned Marketplace is an Advanced Primary Care Marketplace connecting self-insured employers with advanced and direct primary care doctors nationwide. Our vision is to connect 160M+ American employees and their families to better, more affordable care that was previously not available to them. Employers have historically struggled to reach this kind of care. These doctors are concentrated in limited geographies, high-risk members are hard to engage, benefits are scattered across too many point solutions, and direct contracting is complicated. Aligned solves all of it by opening access to these doctors through one contract, communicating directly with members, and managing outcomes-based payments to doctors as we pursue our mission to increase America's healthy years.

You will be joining a mission-oriented team at a Series A, n of 1 startup working to connect 500K+current members across the country to independent advanced and direct primary care. You will be highly impactful with visibility across the company in an evolving but demanding role that will enable you to operate with extreme ownership!

Responsibilities

You will be primarily responsible for the implementation and ongoing account management of Aligned Marketplace’s APC and Specialty enterprise partner network – a rapidly growing group of 30+ advanced primary care and specialty providers. You will own the end-to-end success of these partnerships, ensuring clinicians are fully enabled and thriving in the Aligned model. It will be imperative for you to work across major functions such as Engineering, Product, Provider Growth, Member Support, and Enterprise Sales as we work tirelessly to meet market demand. Initially, you will:

  • Own provider implementation workflows end-to-end, from onboarding through ongoing enablement, ensuring integrations are intuitive and complete.

  • Collaborate with APC and Specialty operations teams to train provider groups on Aligned’s tools, scheduling workflows, clinical workflows, and referral best practices, driving consistent adoption across the network.

  • Work with Engineering, Product, and Operations to identify breakdowns in member handoff, data exchange, and payment workflows, then design and implement standardized processes.

  • Serve as the link between Member Support and provider groups, translating member feedback into concrete operational changes that improve the patient experience.

  • Own ongoing account management by building strong relationships with provider groups, synthesizing their feedback into a clear view of the highest-leverage product gaps, and making the case to Product and Engineering for what to prioritize.

  • Establish and strengthen specialty-to-primary care referral loops, ensuring specialty partners are actively referring members back to Aligned primary care providers to maximize member health outcomes.

You must be mission-oriented with a deep interest in healthcare and a bias toward action. It’s imperative that you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have exceptional written and verbal skills. You’ll regularly face ambiguous, high-stakes problems with limited direction and be expected to drive them to resolution. 2-4+ years in healthcare operations, provider relations, account management, consulting, or similar high-ownership roles is strongly preferred. This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days weekly in our New York City office. We have a chance to increase America’s healthy years by providing members with free care from doctors they love.
