Job summary

Northern Trust in Manila seeks an experienced leader to head APAC Tax Operations and Tax Client Servicing, guiding teams to deliver accurate tax documentation processing, withholding tax setup, reliefs, and reclaim services while upholding risk controls and service standards.

You will coach managers, partner with Tax Practice leaders and stakeholders, drive process improvements, and foster a culture of accountability and client focus within a diverse, global hub.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of APAC tax operations, withholding tax, relief, and reclaim processing.
• Experience leading managers and large operational teams in financial services.
• Ability to partner with cross-functional teams and manage risk across tax operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day APAC Tax Operations and Tax Client Servicing activities.
• Ensure timely, accurate processing of tax documentation and withholding tax setup.
• Monitor KRIs, KPIs, service standards, and operational objectives.
• Identify operational risks and implement controls and remediation plans.
• Drive process improvements and service quality enhancements.
• Coach and develop leaders; foster accountability and client focus.
