Job summary

Covenant HR LLC is recruiting for a Fortune 500 technology and consulting organization to fill a Vulnerability Management Analyst role supporting the APAC region. The position is fully remote with 100% APAC coverage and requires strong triage and vulnerability assessment skills.

Qualifications

• Hands-on vulnerability management and triage experience with assessing vulnerabilities and determining enterprise exposure.
• Strong expertise with CVE, CPE, CVSS and risk assessment methodologies.
• Broad knowledge across Microsoft, VMware, Oracle/Java, Citrix, F5, cloud environments and open-source technologies including patch management.
• Excellent technical documentation and communication skills for audit-ready vulnerability assessments.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and triage newly disclosed vulnerabilities across a diverse enterprise environment.
• Determine whether identified vulnerabilities impact applications, infrastructure, platforms, or other assets.
• Evaluate vulnerability exploitability using threat intel, advisories, exploits, and attack paths.
• Assess exposure and assign risk and severity ratings using CVE, CPE, CVSS, and internal criteria.
• Analyze vulnerabilities affecting Microsoft, VMware, Oracle/Java, Citrix, F5, cloud platforms, and open-source tech.
• Research vendor advisories, patch availability, and software release lifecycles to support remediation recommendations.
• Maintain comprehensive, audit-ready documentation detailing exposure, impact, risk assessments, actions, and escalations.
• Identify and escalate critical or high-risk vulnerabilities needing immediate attention.
• Support ongoing vulnerability management operations to strengthen cybersecurity posture.
• Collaborate with globally distributed security teams for seamless triage and continuity.
• Participate in a 24x5 global vulnerability management coverage model with 8-hour daily shifts.
