Job summary

3M is seeking a Corporate Audit Manager to lead and mentor a multinational team, driving audits across subsidiaries, service centers, plants, and critical business processes. You will own planning, scoping, and reporting, ensuring compliance with audit standards and timely remediation of deficiencies.

The role requires a decade of accounting/finance experience and 5+ years in people management, with Big 4 audit exposure and proficiency in SAP/PowerBI. Travel up to 30% is expected.

Qualifications

• Ten years of professional experience in accounting or finance.
• Five years of people management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Experience in internal or external audit (Big 4).
• Detail-oriented with strong project management, analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written), collaboration, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 5-6 auditors across geographies by setting clear goals and guiding audits.
• Assist in annual global audit scoping and planning.
• Plan, scope, execute, and report audits in manufacturing environments.
• Prepare risk assessments, evaluate controls, and identify gaps and mitigations.
• Gather, analyze, and interpret complex data for audit conclusions.
• Review working papers and ensure audit quality standards.
