Job summary

Grant Thornton (US) in Manila is seeking an senior AP transformation lead to deliver advisory and managed services across a portfolio of clients.

You will evaluate payables processes, drive future-state solutions, and oversee vendor onboarding, master data governance, and payment runs.

The role requires leadership, strong AP knowledge, ERP expertise (SAP S/4HANA), and excellence in client service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SSC or multinational with P2P/AP/R2R focus, including 2+ years in leadership.
• Strong understanding of AP processes including PO compliance, invoice matching, vendor management and payments.
• Experience in process improvement, controls optimisation and AP tech implementations.
• Advanced ERP systems knowledge, especially SAP S/4HANA or similar.
• Proficient in Excel with exposure to reporting platforms such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience managing complex client projects or service delivery engagements.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills with a client-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage delivery of AP advisory and managed services across a portfolio of clients.
• Evaluate existing procurement and payables processes; design future-state solutions.
• Oversee vendor onboarding, supplier data governance, invoice processing, exception handling and payments.
• Support clients in AP process improvements including automation and system enhancements.
• Serve as trusted advisor to clients, building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Lead design, mobilization and execution of AP transformation projects.
• Contribute to proposals, client pitches, pricing models and business development.
• Mentor and coach junior team members and promote a high-performance culture.
• Coordinate with FAAS and GT International teams to deliver best-in-class solutions.
