Job summary

RCG Global Services is seeking a skilled Front-end Developer to join our Ayala Avenue team in Makati. You will design, implement, and maintain modern UI components using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3, collaborating with product managers and UX designers in a Scrum environment.

The role requires delivering reusable UI modules, integrating with RESTful services, and ensuring cross-browser compatibility.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and developing reusable web UI modules.
• Experience in Agile studio development models (SCRUM/Kanban/SAFE).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Hands-on with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and OOJS with Angular.
• Proficient with HTML5, CSS preprocessors (LESS/SASS).
• Experience with Angular 8/10/12/15/18+, TypeScript, and related libraries.
• Familiar with RESTful services and SOAP integration.
• SPA architecture and component-based UI.
• Version control (GitHub/Perforce).
• Build/deploy tools: NPM, Grunt, Gulp, Jenkins, etc.
• CI/CD and continuous delivery familiarity.

Job description

Duties and Responsibilities:

This role involves developing and implementing new technical solutions, maintaining existing applications and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Translate technical specifications, and/or logical and physical design into code for internal clients.
• Develop code based on reading and understanding business and functional requirements following Agile process.
• Build robust, maintainable, enterprise-level web applications using a modern static front-end stack.
• Fully implement user interfaces.
• Perform unit testing, and write documentation.
• Work with UI/UX teams to translate wireframes into usable web user interfaces.
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing with designers, product managers, middle-tier developers, testers and other front-end developers.
• Cooperate with the back-end developer in the process of building the backend web services.
• Solve complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity and perform work without need for direct supervision.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Angular Experience

• Knowledge in full software development lifecycle experience designing and developing self-contained, reusable, and testable Web UI modules and components.
• Worked exclusively within an Agile studio development model - SCRUM, Kanban, SAFE, or other
• Good written and professional verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with developing well-engineered OOJS Angular UI applications.
• Must have detailed hands on understanding of web interface foundations: JavaScript, CSS/CSS3, HTML/HTML5 and similar technologies.
• Good understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.
• Expert knowledge in various libraries and frameworks such as:
  • Angular 8/10/12/15/18+, Node, Ember, React, Bootstrap
  • JavaScript patterns and best practices, JavaScript MVC Frameworks
  • Typescript
  • AWS Lambda
• Hands on familiarity with web service integration concepts of SOAP and RESTful web services.
• Familiar with Json, Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX), and XML API messaging structures.
• Strong web UI testing understanding using tools such as mocha, chai, karma, junit, jmockit, protractor, Angularmocks.
• Understanding of common delivery and communication technologies including HTTP, SSL, SMTP, UDP.
• Expert in Responsive & adaptive web design along with Component-Based Web UI Architecture
• Knowledgeable in cross-browser compatibility.
• Expert knowledge of Single Page Application (SPA) Architecture.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning. Familiar with tools such as Github or Perforce.
• Hands on familiarity with build and deployment tools and processes - NPM, Bower, Grunt, Gulp, Jenkins, Bamboo, Chef, Rundeck.
• Familiarity with continuous integration, continuous development/delivery.

AI Experience

• Has at least 1 year of experience in either Github Copilot or Cursor.

Work Set-up: / Arrangement:

• Must be open to night shift.
• Must be willing to work in Ayala Avenue, Makati City.
• Hybrid arrangement: 2 days per week onsite.
