Sutherland is seeking a highly analytical Manager, Advanced Analytics & Data Science to lead analytics initiatives that drive business impact. This leadership-level IC role focuses on forecasting, NLP, and data-driven decision support, partnering with senior leaders across the organization.

The role requires strong SQL, Python, and stakeholder management skills, with experience in building predictive models and delivering executive-level insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field is required.
• At least 4 years of experience in Data Science or Advanced Analytics.
• Strong SQL and Python for data analysis and model development.
• Experience building predictive and statistical models (forecasting, regression, classification, segmentation).
• Solid data visualization and BI knowledge; able to translate business challenges to analytics solutions.
• Experience partnering with stakeholders and communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Perform deep-dive analyses to uncover trends and risks across business operations.
• Develop descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytics to support strategic decisions.
• Translate business questions into analytical frameworks and actionable recommendations.
• Deliver executive insights through storytelling, visualizations, and presentations.
• Design, build, and deploy predictive models (forecasting, classification, clustering, recommendations).
• Collaborate with data engineering on data quality, governance, and scalable solutions.
