What this job involves

Supporting Commercial Property Valuations

This role supports our Valuation team in preparing detailed property valuation reports for commercial properties across Australia. You'll conduct property research using various online databases and public records in compliance with data license agreements, including recorder data (deeds), assessor information, property tax records, flood maps, market comparables, and zoning data. The work requires meticulous attention to detail-think finding a single sentence in size 9 font within a 100-page document where everything else is size 10.

Document Preparation & Reporting

You'll spend significant time working in MS Word preparing comprehensive valuation reports that can range from 2-7 hours to complete. These reports are detailed, thesis-like documents requiring precision and consistency. You'll also prepare weekly presentation decks in PowerPoint for stakeholder meetings, covering capacity planning, workload updates, and project status. Maintaining accurate productivity tracking for reporting purposes is essential.

Coordination & Stakeholder Communication

The role involves regular communication with team members and stakeholders through email correspondence and weekly presentations. You'll identify and accelerate priority issues, support ad-hoc projects including periodic reviews of data and trends, and work collaboratively to meet tight deadlines while managing multiple deliverables daily.
