Job summary

RTX is seeking a Material Planning professional to join the Philippines site in Tanauan City, onsite at the First Philippine Industrial Park. You will monitor material availability, coordinate with Procurement, Planning, Logistics, and Suppliers, and drive recovery plans to prevent line stoppages.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 2–5 years in material planning or related fields, SAP experience, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in material planning, supply chain, procurement, logistics, production planning, or delivery assurance in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor material availability against production requirements and customer demand.
• Identify potential material shortages and implement mitigation plans to prevent line stoppages.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Planning, Logistics, Warehouse, and Suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials.
• Track critical purchase orders, shipments, and supplier commitments.
• Expedite urgent orders and work with Procurement / Suppliers to improve delivery performance.
• Review supplier promised dates and ensure alignment with production requirements.
• Lead daily material shortage reviews and communicate recovery plans to stakeholders.
• Monitor inbound shipments and coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Escalate supply risks and develop contingency plans to protect customer commitments.
• Prepare material status reports and shortage dashboards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance material availability and supply chain performance.

Qualifications

• With Bachelor's degree
• With experience in SAP.
• Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in material planning, supply chain, procurement, logistics, production planning, or delivery assurance within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Words. etc)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify material risks and develop recovery plans.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Procurement, Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, Warehouse, and Suppliers.
• Ability to prioritize multiple critical issues and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
