Universal Robina Corporation is seeking a Finance Analyst for a probationary role. You will handle financial data preparation, consolidation, and reporting while supporting monthly closes and budgeting processes across domestic and international units.

The role requires strong knowledge of PFRS/IFRS, solid analytical skills, and proficiency with Excel and consolidation tools such as BPC, Onestream, or SAP. Collaboration and integrity are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated financial statements in compliance with PFRS/IFRS and support periodic reporting requirements.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities and ensure timely report submission.
• Perform variance analysis, trend, and ratio analyses for management review.
• Prepare internal/external reporting schedules and analyses (Quarter and Annual Financial Statements).
• Assist in audit requirements and maintain templates/systems in line with policies.
• Coordinate with domestic and international units on data needs and budgeting/support.

Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Finance Analyst.

What are the Roles and Responsibilities?

• Financial data preparation, Reporting and Consolidation – Prepare consolidated financial statements in compliance with PFRS/IFRS and support periodic reporting requirements. Gather, validate, and consolidate financial data from subsidiaries, ensuring completeness and accuracy
• Closing & Reporting Processes – Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, ensuring timely submission of reports (e.g. Flash reports, Excom, JG Group report submission)
• Financial Analysis – Prepare variance analysis, trend, and ratio analyses and highlight key movements for management review and support adhoc financial analyis and special projects as required
• Management & External Reporting – Prepare reports, schedules, and supporting analyses for internal and external stakeholders (e.g. Quarter and Annual Financial Statements)
• Audit & Compliance Support – Assist in audit requirements, Financial Statements preparation (quarter and annual reports), maintain reporting templates/systems, and ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal policies.
• Business Partnering & Planning Support – Coordinate and collaborate with business units (Domestic & International) on data requirements and provide support for budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis, including active involvement in finance-related projects

What are the Qualifications?

• In-depth knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Finanacial Management Systems, Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Consolidation Tool (e.g. BPC, Onestream, SAP or similar)
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
