Job summary

Virginia Food, Inc (VFI) in Compostela, Cebu, is seeking a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Leadman to oversee RAC technicians in routine maintenance of blast freezers, chillers and cooling systems.

The ideal candidate has a relevant degree or vocational RAC training, 2 years of experience in RAC, and hands-on skills with ammonia and Freon systems, plus supervisory experience and willingness to work shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology or related vocational RAC training.
• At least 2 years experience with Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Systems.
• Knowledgeable in installation of split-type AC, repair and troubleshooting of RAC machines.
• Experience with Ammonia and Freon Refrigeration Systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead RAC technicians in maintenance of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
• Assist supervisor in planning, scheduling, and implementing maintenance programs for RAC machines.
• Regularly check equipment status during and after repair.
• Oversee task completion and ensure all safety protocols are followed.

WE'RE LOOKING FOR

REFRIGERATION AND AIR CONDITIONING - LEADMAN (Work base: Compostela, Cebu)

Responsibilities:

• Leading the RAC technicians for the regular maintenance of refrigeration machines such as blast freezers, spiral freezers, cold storage, chillers, ice machines, and air-conditioning;
• Providing technical assistance to the immediate superior in the planning, scheduling, and implementation of maintenance programs for Refrigeration & Air-conditioning machines;
• Regularly checking the status of equipment and machines under repair and after repair; and
• Overseeing the completion of tasks and ensuring that all safety protocols are implemented

Qualifications:

• Candidate should be a graduate of BS in Industrial Technology majoring in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology or any related vocational courses.
• With at least 2 years of experience in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems.
• Knowledgeable in Installation of split type aircon, repair, and troubleshooting of any RAC Machines.
• Must have experience with Ammonia and Freon Refrigeration System
• Preferably with experience in supervising or handling manpower.
• Willing to work beyond the normal working hours
• Willing to work in shifting schedules
