Job summary

P&A Grant Thornton in Manila (Makati) is seeking a capable regulatory compliance specialist to join a multi-disciplinary team. You will provide technical expertise on regulatory reviews and act as SME on 2nd or 3rd line of defence projects, delivering mandated reviews and supporting international work.

You will plan and manage projects with deadlines, review client documents for regulatory requirements, and collaborate with senior management up to board level.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge in regulation and Financial Regulator rules and guidance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Be a key team member on projects involving multiple team members and client deliverables.
• Provision of technical expertise on a range of relevant projects, including to act as Subject Matter Expert on 2nd or 3rd line of defence projects, delivering regulatory mandated review work for authorities.
• Interpretation and implementation of regulations.
• Planning and managing projects as required, meeting deadlines.
• Reviewing client documentation in relation to regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with client senior management, up to board-level directors.
• Prepare detailed reports outlining project deliverables and recommendations.
• Assist in strategic business development activities, including identifying client needs and opportunities and working on proposals for new business.
• Develop new business opportunities and collaborate with other departments.
