Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Aircraft Maintenance Technology or equivalent.
• Valid CAAP license is required.
• At least two years of related experience in aircraft maintenance.

Aufgaben

• Accomplishes regular servicing and maintenance of aircraft per work sheets and Airbus procedures.
• Diagnoses defects and determines corrective actions.
• Performs corrective repairs, adjustments or unit replacements to quality standards.
• Implements modifications and alterations per approved documents (RDAS, SB, STC).
• Completes work efficiently and documents all records of work performed.
• Signs off completed work and ensures airworthiness paperwork is correct.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area and follows safety regulations.
• Performs maintenance release/airworthiness release after confirming all work is complete and no defects remain.
• May be assigned as Flight Mechanic if needed.

Responsibilities

• Accomplishes regular servicing and maintenance of aircraft as required in the work sheets in accordance with the Airbus Helicopters procedures and standards and applicable CAAP regulations
• Determines defects and unsatisfactory conditions present in the aircraft and diagnoses/ troubleshoot their causes to pinpoint areas or systems where corrective actions are needed
• Performs corrective repairs, adjustments, or unit replacement consistent with the quality standards set by Airbus Helicopters
• Accomplishes modifications and alteration instructions in accordance with approved documents and instructions (RDAS, SB, STC, etc.)
• Executes all work assigned in an efficient and cost effective manner
• Signs off work accomplishments in the appropriate records, forms and other documents which may be needed in the performance of duties
• Maintains a clean, neat and orderly working area at all times and follows all pertinent safety rules and regulations
• Performs maintenance release/airworthiness release after ensuring the completeness of the applicable check and verifying that all work and/or inspections performed or required to be performed have been signed for and that no known defects exist that would render the aircraft, engine, components and accessories and appliances not airworthy
• Can be assigned as a Flight Mechanic if needed
