Job summary

Loc&Stor 24/7, Inc. is seeking a qualified Aircon Technician to install, inspect, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems across facilities.

The role supports the Maintenance & Engineering team under direct supervision, performing preventive maintenance and responding to equipment issues to keep operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate has a background in Engineering or Electrical trades, at least 1 year of relevant experience, and the ability to travel to multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Engineering or Electrical/Vocational AC tech background required.
• Minimum of 1 year Aircon Technician experience.
• Driver's license preferred but not required; travel to multiple facilities may be needed.
• Certification or relevant trainings related to airconditioning servicing preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine preventive maintenance to ensure equipment runs smoothly.
• Inspects AC parts (electrical panels, indoor/outdoor units) and tests performance per SOP.
• Inspects and tests equipment to locate damage or worn parts; reads work orders for repairs.
• Repairs and rebuilds defective AC parts using hand and power tools.
• Reports to Supervisor and Facility Managers for non-routine actions and updates.
• Prepares daily/weekly PM activity reports.
• Performs maintenance duties ensuring clean, safe facilities.
• Assists and observes AC contractors during inspections and repairs.
• Signs off/accepts AC contractor work upon completion.
• Shares basic preventive maintenance knowledge with staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job description

Under the directsupervision of theMaintenance & EngineeringSupervisor,the Aircon Technician primarily installs, inspects,maintains, and repairs air conditioners of allLoc&Stor24/7 facilities.It alsoperforms maintenance tasks when necessary.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Performs routine preventive maintenance (see PM scope) tasks to ensure that equipment and machines continue to run smoothly.
2. Inspects AC parts such as electrical panels, indoorunits, outdoorunits, temperature, and humidity perform other maintenance actions, following SOP.
3. Inspects and tests equipment tolocatedamage or worn parts and diagnose malfunctions or read work orders/service reports to determine/verify required repairs.
4. Repairs and rebuilds defective parts in air-conditioning units and related equipment using hand tools and power tools.
5. Reports toMaintenance & Engineering Supervisor, Facility Managers, and Assistant FacilityManagers forupdates and requests thatrequiresupervisorial action or decisions (thoseoutof the routine preventive maintenance).
6. Prepares daily reports and weekly reports of PM activities.
7. Performs maintenance roles by ensuring clean, safe, and secure facilities.
8. AssistsandobservesAC contractors during inspections and repairs.
9. Signs off /Accepts AC contractor works once completed.
10. Shares basic knowledgeofpreventivemaintenance with other maintenance staff.
11. Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate head

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate or undergraduate of Engineering, Electrical, Vocational Course (Ac tech related).
• Minimum of at least 1-year Aircon Technician experience.
• Have current driver’s license preferred but not required and must be able to travel to several facilities.
• Certification or Relevant Trainings related to Airconditioning Servicing is preferred but not required.

Technical Skills

• Required skill(s): Installs, troubleshoots, and repairs air-conditioning units; Ensures compliance with proper safety procedures and specifications related to AC; Schedules and completes preventive maintenance for the air conditioning equipment.
• Knowledge in using Microsoft office tools, composing simple reports, and presenting the information to supervisors.
