Job summary

KAMI Workforce is seeking an AI Product Development Engineer to work at the forefront of AI-assisted software development. You will use Claude Code daily to research problems, design solutions, build prototypes, test functionality, and iterate on new product ideas for enterprise clients.

This role emphasizes thinking over mere coding, with opportunities to influence product design, software development, testing, and iteration in a fast-paced environment driven by AI.

Qualifications

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with Claude Code, or a strong desire to become exceptionally good at it.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking.
• Ability to break complicated problems into clear, solvable parts.
• Strong product mindset and an ability to understand what users actually need.
• Curiosity and willingness to keep digging until you understand a problem properly.

Responsibilities

• Work with internal stakeholders and enterprise clients to understand real business problems and product requirements.
• Think deeply about the problem before jumping into development.
• Break complex problems down into clear functional and technical solutions.
• Design practical, simple, and intuitive software experiences.
• Use Claude Code as a core part of your daily development workflow.
• Rapidly build working software prototypes and product features.
• Use Claude Code to write, review, debug, refactor, and test code.
• Develop new features and enhancements for our workforce management platform.
• Build customized software features for enterprise clients.
• Test your own work thoroughly, including usability, functional, and edge-case testing.
• Iterate rapidly based on stakeholder feedback.
• Work with experienced developers to move successful prototypes into production.
• Continuously experiment with better ways to use AI to build software faster and better.
