Job Summary

An AI Engineer designs, develops, and deploys intelligent systems to solve complex business or technical challenges, with a focus on integrating artificial intelligence and machine learning into products or workflows.

Key Responsibilities

1. Model Development & Optimization
   • Design, train, fine‑tune, and validate machine learning (ML) and deep learning models, including generative AI (LLMs), retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG), and recommendation systems.
   • Preprocess and analyze large datasets to extract insights and ensure data quality for model training.
   • Optimize models for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency (e.g., model compression, hardware acceleration).
2. Solution Deployment & Integration
   • Build and maintain end‑to‑end AI pipelines, including CI/CD workflows for seamless deployment.
   • Integrate AI models into existing systems, applications, or APIs (e.g., LLMs with Microsoft 365, Salesforce, or custom software).
   • Implement monitoring systems to track model performance, reliability, and drift in production.
3. Collaboration & Strategy
   • Work with cross‑functional teams (product, engineering, business stakeholders) to translate requirements into technical solutions.
   • Identify automation opportunities and develop AI‑driven tools to streamline workflows.
   • Ensure compliance with responsible AI practices (transparency, fairness, privacy) and industry regulations.
4. Innovation & Learning
   • Stay updated on emerging AI technologies (e.g., agentic AI, multimodal models) and evaluate their applicability to business needs.
   • Conduct research or proof‑of‑concept (PoC) projects to explore new AI capabilities.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred for senior roles.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or C++.
  • Experience with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face) and libraries (Pandas, NumPy).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and low‑code/no‑code tools (Power Platform, Zapier).
  • Knowledge of prompt engineering, RAG systems, or agentic AI concepts is increasingly valuable.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving abilities, communication skills, and teamwork.
