Job summary

Elastic, the Search AI Company, is hiring a Software Engineer for the Security EDR Workflows team. You’ll build UI features for Elastic Defend, extend the management and response actions framework, and develop scalable, high-performance services in Typescript/Node.js as part of a global engineering effort.

You’ll collaborate with security, product and design teams across time zones, applying AI-powered development practices to improve onboarding, usability and reliability while expanding OSquery

Qualifications

• Able to learn quickly and adapt across time zones.
• Strong collaboration with product and design teams.
• Willingness to incorporate AI into development workflow.

Responsibilities

• Implement features powering Elastic Defend UI capabilities.
• Contribute to architecture of Defend management and response actions with OSquery forensics.
• Develop scalable, high-performance systems within the Elastic ecosystem.
• Write production-grade code in Typescript/Node.js in a high-quality, well-tested codebase.
• Collaborate with other Elastic engineering teams on cross-team efforts.
• Improve engineering standards, tooling and processes driven by AI usage.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Work with a globally distributed team focused on Elastic Defend and OSquery capabilities from Kibana perspective.
• Collaborate with team members on large product features.
• Leverage AI to accelerate development work.
