Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a data enthusiast to design and oversee the foundational data layer that enables AI-enabled analytics across unified accounts, contacts, candidates, deals, and work records.

You will lead data modeling, validation at ingest, and an adaptable integration layer, ensuring secure data access for internal AI agents and a unified BI foundation as we consolidate ERP systems.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on experience in data and analytics with data-modeling emphasis.
• Experience designing canonical data models across multiple source systems.
• Strong SQL for data exploration, auditing, reconciliation, and validation.

Responsibilities

• Define and own canonical data model across accounts, contacts, deals, and related entities.
• Establish upfront validation rules to improve data quality at ingest.
• Coordinate with engineers to maintain a flexible integration layer.
• Build and govern a semantic layer for BI and future ERP dashboards.
• Design secure, permissioned data access for internal AI agents.
• Own data quality and be the point of contact for data defects.
• Plan migration paths from legacy systems while preserving history.
• Apply Lean AI to reduce data failures and monitor KPIs/SLAs.
• Analyze unstructured data such as speech/text for insights.
