Job summary

S&P Global Energy is seeking a Climate & Sustainability Analyst to blend AI-driven analytics with commercial insight to help market leaders navigate the net-zero transition.

You will deploy AI workflows, quantitative models, and scenario analyses to assess climate risks and opportunities, advising top financial institutions and enterprises while translating complex data into compelling pitches and actionable roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Experience: More than 3 years of relevant climate risk/ESG advisory work with project and stakeholder management across levels.
• AI, Quantitative & Technical Innovation: Proficient in quantitative modeling, Python, API integration, and agile prototyping of AI workflows.
• Executive Communication & High-Impact Storytelling: Ability to craft boardroom-grade decks and briefings translating complex quant/AI into business narratives.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI-driven transformation and design automated analytical pipelines across practice areas.
• Own project lifecycles from scoping to delivery with cross-functional coordination.
• Perform climate & nature analytics including GHG accounting and scenario analysis.
• Guide clients on disclosures, materiality, and ESG risk readiness for sustainability roadmaps.
• Coordinate data collection, ensure quality, and produce executive-ready reports and presentations.
• Support business development with technical solutioning and client pitches.
