Manulife IT Delivery Center Asia Inc. is seeking a Penetration Tester to strengthen our application security posture across digital products, platforms, and financial services systems.

You will lead security assessments, drive remediation, and contribute to AppSec programs with AI‑driven automation. The ideal candidate combines secure software development, offensive security, and cross‑functional leadership.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of hands-on experience in application security.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, OWASP Testing Guide (OTG), and ASVS.
• Experience performing Web/API/Mobile/Desktop pentesting with Burp Suite Pro, OWASP ZAP, Metasploit.
• Experience using AI/ML APIs to automate security workflows such as vulnerability analysis and report generation.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end application security assessments including SAST, DAST, and manual code reviews.
• Conduct ad hoc and scheduled penetration testing on web apps, APIs, AI/ML, and mobile apps.
• Analyze OWASP Top 10 and advanced vulnerability classes; report findings to stakeholders.
• Design and deploy AI-powered automation tools and security scripts to enhance detection and testing efficiency.
• Write secure, maintainable code to build internal security tooling and AI-assisted workflows.
• Perform threat modeling for complex systems and recommend security architecture improvements.
• Advise development teams on security-by-design and secure coding practices.
• Mentor associate security engineers and lead knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Produce risk-rated vulnerability reports with actionable remediation guidance.
• Contribute to security policies, standards, playbooks, and training materials.
• Stay ahead of threats in financial services, translating intelligence into controls.
