Job summary

Insight Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Data Scientist for its AI Development team in Pasig, PH. The role blends in-office collaboration one day a week with four days remote, applying analytics and ML to solve enterprise problems across finance, HR, operations, and ecommerce.

You will build and evaluate models, support LLM-based applications, and drive data-driven decisions with Databricks, Python, and SQL. Collaboration with engineers and product owners is essential for productionizing outputs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Scientist with a portfolio of completed projects.
• Expert proficiency in Python with core data science libraries (Pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy).
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, including PySpark, MLflow, and Databricks Workflows.
• Strong SQL skills for data exploration and feature engineering.
• Solid understanding of ML algorithms, model evaluation, and statistics.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; able to present to diverse audiences.
• Collaborative in Agile teams with engineers and product stakeholders.
• Nice to Have: experience with LLM evaluation/fine-tuning; PowerBI; background in CS/ Stats.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate ML models (regression, classification, time-series) using Databricks and Python.
• Support AI Developers with evaluation, fine-tuning, and benchmarking for LLMs.
• Perform exploratory data analysis with PySpark and SQL to uncover insights.
• Design and manage features with the Databricks Feature Store for reuse across projects.
• Champion MLOps practices using MLflow for experiment tracking and model versioning.
• Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, AI Developers, and Product Owners to productionize models.
