Job summary

QualityAI is seeking a Data Collection & Annotation Engineer to support AI model development by collecting, annotating, and validating image and video datasets. The role involves hands-on data collection, annotation guidelines, and basic testing of camera systems and firmware versions.

Responsibilities include executing data collection scenarios, reviewing annotations for accuracy, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve processes.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Windows OS environments.
• 0–1 years of experience in Data Annotation, Data Collection, Manual QA, or a similar technical role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy during repetitive annotation tasks.
• Ability to follow detailed technical guidelines and predefined procedures.
• Experience working with image and video datasets is an advantage.
• Experience with annotation tools such as CVAT or similar annotation platform is an advantage.
• Good documentation and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

• Perform data collection of images and videos for AI model training and validation.
• Execute data collection scenarios according to predefined requirements and test conditions.
• Perform data annotation and labeling according to detailed annotation guidelines.
• Review annotated data and ensure high levels of accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Work with camera systems and dedicated setups for collecting data under different environments, conditions, angles, distances, and scenarios.
• Support improvements to data collection and annotation processes based on project needs.
• Report technical issues identified during data collection activities.
