Job summary

Directed Electronics Australia seeks a hands-on AI content specialist to lead AI-driven content creation across text, image and video. You will collaborate with social creators, designers and videographers to scale creative output and push innovative workflows.

You will harness tools like ChatGPT, MidJourney and video editors to deliver on-brand content, while refining prompts, processes, and production pipelines for efficiency and impact.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience creating digital content using AI generation tools for text, image, and video.
• Proven ability to develop and refine prompts to produce high-quality, brand-aligned AI outputs.
• Practical experience with video editing and visual effects software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop.

Responsibilities

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR ROLE

• Join the Digital & Marketing team at Directed Electronics Australia and sit at the forefront of AI-powered content creation. In this role, you will harness cutting-edge AI tools to produce compelling written, visual, and video content that builds brand awareness, drives engagement, and scales creative output across digital platforms. You will serve as the team's AI subject matter expert, shaping the way the business approaches content production.

• Working cross-functionally with social media creators, videographers, and designers, you will bring ideas from concept to delivery while continuously refining workflows and pushing the boundaries of what AI can produce. If you are passionate about emerging technology, digital storytelling, and making content work harder, this is the role for you.

YOUR DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, MidJourney, Veo 3, Sora 2, and Kling AI to generate high-quality written, visual, and video content aligned with brand guidelines

• Develop, test, and refine AI prompts to consistently achieve on-brand, high-quality creative outputs

• Manage end-to-end video and photography AI content production from concept through to final sign-off

• Perform video editing, visual effects, motion graphics, and image retouching to elevate and finalise AI-generated content

• Maintain and optimise content workflows and approval systems to ensure efficient delivery and clear communication across teams

• Monitor AI, social media, and digital content trends and translate relevant insights into engaging, timely creative work

• Collaborate with social media content creators, videographers, and designers to integrate AI-generated assets into existing production pipelines

• Develop and maintain briefing documentation and cross-functional processes that support consistent, on-time, on-budget content delivery

• Act as the team's AI content subject matter expert, evaluating emerging tools, features, and best practices

• Use AI analytics tools to identify trending topics, keywords, and content formats that maximise engagement across platforms

A BIT ABOUT YOU

• Hands-on experience creating digital content using AI generation tools for text, image, and video

• Proven ability to develop and refine prompts to produce high-quality, brand-aligned AI outputs

• Practical experience with video editing, VFX, and retouching software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, or Lightroom

• Familiarity with social media content formats and platform-specific requirements across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook

• Strong understanding of brand tone of voice and the ability to ensure AI outputs meet creative and compliance standards

• Experience analysing content performance data and applying insights to improve workflows and output quality

• Knowledge of automation workflows for content repurposing and optimisation across multiple channels

• Familiarity with social media management tools such as Hootsuite or Sprout Social

• Basic understanding of copyright and licensing considerations for AI-generated content

• A collaborative, creative, and adaptable communicator who thrives in a cross-functional team environment
