Job summary

TELUS Digital seeks an Automation Technical Architect to design secure, scalable automation solutions using RPA and AI-agent technologies. You translate business processes into detailed technical architectures for engineering teams to implement without major redesign.

You will lead architecture workshops, mentor teams, and ensure deployments align with approved designs while upholding data privacy and security standards across enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in solution architecture and intelligent automation.
• 3+ years designing enterprise RPA solutions using UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism.
• Experience integrating AI/LLM technologies into automation workflows.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, system integration, cloud infrastructure, data flows, and enterprise architecture.
• Familiarity with Agentic AI, LLMs, RAG, OCR, NLP, human-in-the-loop workflows, and AI guardrails.
• Experience designing secure solutions involving data privacy, access controls, encryption, logging, and compliance.
• Strong communication, facilitation, documentation, and technical presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Convert business process maps into technical solution designs and architecture diagrams.

• Define system integrations, data flows, security controls, monitoring, and deployment environments.

• Ensure solutions meet scalability, security, privacy, compliance, and data residency requirements.
• Lead architecture workshops and walkthroughs with business, engineering, IT, and security teams.
• Support engineering during implementation and ensure the final solution follows the approved architecture.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor engineering teams on architecture best practices.
