Job summary

77GSI is seeking an experienced Scrum Master in the Philippines to empower delivery teams across multiple programs. You will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, coach teams on Agile principles, and help the group improve velocity and product quality.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, Release Train Engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders, remove blockers, monitor sprint metrics in Jira, and promote a transparent, collaborative culture that reliably meets sprint commitments.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and coaching Agile delivery teams.
• Strong servant leadership, facilitation, communication, mentoring, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Experience managing impediments, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
• Experience working with Product Owners, RTEs, technical teams, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Jira, Agile metrics, sprint/release planning, and team capacity management.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative enterprise Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and ensure effective Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Coach delivery teams on Agile/Scrum principles, practices, self-management, and continuous improvement.
• Assess and improve the team's Scrum maturity, promoting greater team ownership and accountability.
• Identify, manage, and remove impediments/blockers that may affect sprint commitments and delivery.
• Foster a safe, collaborative, and transparent working environment where team members can raise concerns and resolve conflicts constructively.
• Protect the team from unnecessary distractions, scope changes, and external interruptions during sprints.
• Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure the Product Backlog is properly prioritized, refined, and ready for development.
• Support Definition of Ready (DoR), Definition of Done (DoD), sprint planning, and release planning.
• Monitor and report team capacity, velocity, burndown, defects, sprint progress, and delivery metrics using tools such as Jira.
• Track the overall status of demands and provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Release Train Engineers (RTEs), Product Owners, Tribe Leads, Operations, Support Teams, vendors, and partner teams to ensure smooth delivery and releases.
• Monitor sprint and release schedules and ensure features are delivered and deployed according to agreed timelines.
• Facilitate resolution of cross-team dependencies, resource concerns, and delivery issues.
• Monitor team capacity and utilization and raise resource or performance concerns when necessary.
• Ensure proper coordination with Operations and Support teams for production releases and technical readiness.
• Participate in Scrum Master/Agile communities, cadences, knowledge-sharing sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
