Job summary

Collins Aerospace, a Raytheon Technologies company, is seeking a Project Engineer to own lifecycle management from planning through implementation at our PH facility. You will coordinate with program management, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and design engineering to meet objectives.

The role requires a mechanical/aerospace engineering degree and 4–5+ years in project engineering or similar roles, with strong analytical and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, or related field).
• 4–5+ years of experience in project engineering, project management, or similar technical roles.
• Knowledge of engineering development, manufacturing processes, and aerospace systems.
• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle from planning, design, development, testing, and implementation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are achieved.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within cost targets.
• Monitor project progress and performance, including schedule, cost, and technical deliverables.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to prevent delays or issues.
• Prepare reports and communicate status updates to stakeholders and senior management.
• Manage project documentation, proposals, and work statements as required for program execution.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, quality requirements, and safety regulations (EHS).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve engineering processes and project outcomes.
